It Takes All of Us

We can always do more when we work together. At Feed the Children, we know that the only way to end childhood hunger is through collaboration. That’s why we supply hundreds of nonprofit partners across the country with food and resources to reach children and families who need them.

Become a Community Partner

What is Community Partnership?

Without our community partners’ hard work, we wouldn’t be able to do our own. Serving vulnerable communities in cities, towns and rural areas across the United States, our partners are heroes who can impact struggling families directly in the areas where they live. In fiscal year 2022, we supported more than 700 U.S. community partners—including food banks and food pantries, churches, outreach organizations and after-school programs—through gift-in-kind donations from our corporate partners. In the fight against hunger, everyone has a role to play.

Our History

Established over 40 years ago, Feed the Children is one of the leading anti-hunger organizations.

We dare to envision a world where no child goes to bed hungry. To help create that world, we are dedicated to helping families and communities achieve stable lives and to reducing the need for help tomorrow—all while providing food and assistance to help them today.

In the United States we distribute product donations of food and other items from corporate donors through our network of local community partners, we provide classroom support and school supplies to students in vulnerable areas, and we mobilize resources quickly to aid recovery efforts when natural disasters strike.

Internationally, we manage child-focused community development programs that focus on reducing hunger and malnutrition, teaching health and promoting self-reliance in 8 countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin American.

We welcome partnerships because we know that our work would not be possible without collaborative relationships. We seek to connect donors, partners, experts, volunteers, leaders, and communities to raise awareness about childhood hunger and make it a thing of the past. That’s something we can only do together.

Successful Partnerships

The most important resources that we need from Feed the Children are the large quantities of food that are ready to deliver. Those are just great tools, a great resource and we know we are meeting a serious need in our community.

COVID-19 has impacted the way we reach out to the people of our community by increasing all that the Buffalo Dream Center is doing. With the demand for food increasing and families in need, we’ve had to make sure that we’re out there in the community helping people and we couldn’t do that without Feed the Children. Feed the Children is an important part of what we do here in Buffalo New York at the Buffalo Dream Center. Feed the Children enables us to go out into the community, and not only bring food, but bring hope and encouragement to the families during this pandemic.
- Eric Johns, Buffalo Dream Center, NY
Feed the Children is a critical partner for us right now. They are providing us with the essential supplies that our clients need in order to survive.
